Florest posters not withstanding this could be an interesting discussion...er...I mean match
Could it be six on the trot? Surely it has to come to end soon?
Massive interest has been re-kindled on these boards and some cynical posters may say I have tied myself to the coat tails of this phenomenon..............me? No! Auks and guillemots, yes!
Welcome to our regulars and about the only interesting fact I know about Charlton........sorry two, is that Rodney Trotter's middle name is Charlton and we beat them 4 - 1 in the 1946 FA Cup Final.........anyone around for THAT one?

Had good yesterday.....although a 8am start having being my works Christmas night out till 3am didn't help.
I like going to Charlton...fairly straight forward to get to on the train....good pubs around London Bridge...I made abit of a sombre trip to Woolwich with backo and co and visit the spot where Lee Rigby was killed....a few beers in woolwich and then to the game.....wasn't pretty but we battled. 1 thing McClaren has done for us is make us hard to beat. we are always going to score goals so if we keep a clean sheet we'll have 3 points...
There was 1 Derby fan on the 1957 train out of St pancras whois probably the most self opinion-ated person I've ever met. I was sat with a couple of Sunderland fans and they asked me if I was happy with mcClaren and when I said I was this fool from 2 seats down spent the next 30mins telling me how the club have made a massive mistake in sacking Clough and i was stupid to think McClaren is doing better than what Clough would of done if he'd stayed. I don'tmind listening to people's opinions but for him to butt in my conversation and continue to go on and on and tell me I was stupid got my back up abit....I suppose he isn't has bad as the 2 Derby fans who had a right fight in the 5th minute of the game.

you're alright mate....the lad was full of beer and courage...but he was going on and on even his mates where embarrassed...he asked me what I knew about football and that I know nothing because I don't go to as many games has him, I told him if he didn't like McClaren he should stop going which he said he will.

Webb <-1> For being Cheeky!
Plus I wasn't pointing the Billy hater finger at you with that post, as I said yesterday there were some at the match who all they were talking about was Derby and it was the same at Sheff W last week as well, they actually spent more time on the phone looking at the Derby score then watching the game in front of them!
