g7 it was clear after 15 mins it was the wrong player to bring on. But I agree, I felt it was the correct sub at the time.

Mata had a decent 1st half. He made some good runs down the right but failed to put in a decent final ball.

Mata was mostly a passenger and at the time I agreed with the sub. With hindsight however it's clear Oscar was no better.

I thought it was the correct sub. He did fine, won a few nice balls coming in deep, attacking wise we know he is no better or even as good as Mata, but can still provide a threat.

Not exactly. We do not make any attempt to "kill off" the game. We get relaxed. Sit back. Try to waste time. Hit on the counter. We are at our best when we attack with purpose. That is our best defense and we only point out how awful we are at defending to teams when we go up one goal and continually give up the equalizer.
