Post match Ipswich thoughts

Firstly, what is wrong with our home form?!

Rather than pin down 1 factor, let's consider the factors that make a team better at home or so called "home advantage"
-Familiarity (perhaps our newer players may struggle here)
-No jet-lag from travelling
-Fans (are we behind the team?)
-Away fans (incredibly, with smaller allocations, perhaps the smaller teams will make more noise?!)
-Tactics (is the way we are set up a problem?)

Any others? I'm not too sure but if I had to put it down to one thing it would probably be our strikers; hitting the bar is not the back of the net.

Positives from today:
- Not miles away from top 2 despite what people think and 10 points off top of the league, hard to believe considering
- Darlow! Great form from the young man and interesting to see premier league clubs such as Liverpool and Man City linked with him
- Our makeshift defence, although it is not ideal to not have a settled back 4, at least there is strength in depth there with players like Halford to bring in, its just unfortunate that 2 key defenders (Wilson and Cohen) are out.

Negatives:
- Still need a ball-winner to stop teams running at our defence constantly
- Well, even though he is in good form, Cox for me still doesn't deliver, misses more than he scores and the goals he scores are tap-ins, also offside all the time
- Home draw
- Sheep won
- Out the top 6

All in all, we'll have to take this point and move on to the next game, we may win our next 5 and opinions may change. I think at this point in the season, it is not critical how we are doing, after January results like this may annoy me a lot more. Stay patient.

Strong rumour that the bid is going in for Shane Long.

Thanks for finding out our rumours for us mate. Wouldn't have a clue or give a sh|t who Derby might be signing.

Oh, so you think you're signing Long. Why did you post it on the Forest Board then? Muppet.

Like to keep you abreast of all things Derby, time of the year for sharing and all that jazz.

Who's your favorite muppet?

SHH I think you have Igor wrong there and he is referring to Forest's interest in Shane Long. The funny thing is the DET regularly report Forest transfer rumours and activity. Give the readers what they want.
