Adrien Broner

Wow what a fight last night. Maidana deserved winner and a much earned first world title. Has been the nearly men on a few occasions. His performance last night was a far cry from the Maidana we saw against Alexander where he was absolute shocking. A lot of haters were in joyful mood like they won the lottery. I shed to think what it would be like if Mayweather ever lost. They would probably make it a public holiday around the world. Broner brought it on himself to be fair with his antics and acting like the king of boxing when he hasnt earned the right yet to act like that. If your going to talk big you better back it up.

Maidana started like a train on fire hurting Broner in the 1st and knocking him down in the second. Broner cameback into it in the middle rounds by backing Maidana up. It seemed to work as Maidana looks very uncomfortable on the back foot but also dangerous as you can walk onto something big which happened in the 8th round. It was the fight clincher for Maidana as Broner's corner told Broner he needed a knockout in the last 2 rounds. Broner did finally seem to hurt Maidana in the 11th and 12th rounds but it was too little too late. As Maidana ran out a deserved winner.

One thing is clear Broner is no Mayweather and doesnt have the same talent. Dont get me wrong Broner is very talented but he needs to stop believing in his own hype and knuckle down and start working hard. He moved up too quickly in my opinion. 1. Because he wants to become a superstar as quick as possible. 2. He is too lazy to try and make weight at 135 and 140. Remember Mayweather only moved upto 140 at the age of 27 and 29 years old at welterweight his current and natural weight. I think his advisors and promoters pushed Broner too early.

I actually felt sorry for Broner but he brought a lot of this on himself. Never nice to see a man get called names after a fight and have food and drink chucked at him. Broner entered the ring with a large entourage and walked out with only 2 security guards. Broner will now find out who his real friends are and the fake ones who only want to be with when you're on top. This could be the making or breaking of Broner. He could either lose the plot or work hard and fulfil his potential to become a hall of famer and dare I say even become a all time great. Broner to his credit showed a lot of heart and had to go hospital as he sustained injuries in the fight. He seems to have a suspected broken jaw and maybe other injuries we dont know off. He admitted Maidana was the better man last night and didnt make excuses like a certain Carl Froch. Broner has a lot of soul searching to do if he wants to become a great.

Now for the coups de gras:

Before the Mayweather/Mosley fight we had this:

Shane just has too much for Mayweather, there is a reason why Mayweather has ducked this fight and I know the reason, and come April May you will all know it.
----------------------------
Shane will beat Mayweather on the inside and on the outside, pot shotting wont win you this one Floyd, Shane going to take you to the trenches.
Think I'll cover 10-12rd and pts win for Mosley, put about 250 a piece down for each bet.
Mayweather is only use to running away from big brawlwer that are slow and can't punch.
-------------------------
He will run from Mosley but Mosley is quick, skilful, A GOOD JAB great body puncher and can very good on the inside. Taller, physicaly stronger, I think a longer reach and a bigger puncher and more experienced.
Mosley by UD 116-112, 115-113, 115-113 and still the WBA Champion, Sugar Shane Mosley.
The look on Mayweather face when the result is annouce will be worth the PPV fee alone.
----------------

After Mayweather dominates, we get:

Like I said early Manny has a full compliment of punches he can do them all, he is not a ONE TRICK PONY like Mosley.

and this:

Surprise Surprise, Mosley as well as not having any stamina, Mosley had very poor footwork and a terrible jab.

D4th has actually tried saying he picked Mayweather to win by UD all along, AFTER being shown the above! laugh

Well Carl Froch won via TKO, while Broner got trashed for 12 rounds and lost by unanimous decision, so it isn't quite the same.

Never boxed, but done Kick boxing and some other martial arts not to a high level though.

But I have studied Floyd style and I no his weak point and I practice on a heavy bag combinations that will take Floyd down.

But expert is right in a way, if were to fight Floyd I would have to take him down as soon a posible, I'm very good at ground work.

Oh my God. He actually said that? Good grief. That is shocking.

He's never boxed, but rather he's just been on the heavybag. Yet he thinks he can take out the best fighter in the world? haha
