Who & what are Spurs

Hello guys,

Sad to see Andre get the boot, I'm not a Spurs fan/supporter myself but i think you're a cracking club and i come with a few questions.

For me Tottenham are not traditionally one of the clubs that will be looking to pickup silverware at the end of a season as usually there are 4 clubs a head of you in that cue.

So what's changed?. What has prompted the boards recent decision to sack AVB??? was it false pretenses due to sampling champions league football and a top 4 finish that led spurs fans and board/management team to believe that they have the same right to be there as everyone else??? they do and i blame the clubs attitude at all levels. Supporters have the right to dream, clubs have the right to dream and to drive ambition but these must be met with smart decision making and process.

Tottenham have a long way to go in the game yet before they can count themselves as one of the big boys and i'm not having a dig here only an observation by someone who loves the dying unfair game we have here in the UK.

It's important that Spurs don't go the foreign route on and off the park and disconnect with the fans, for me Spurs have had a good core of British players in the past and it's important that ideology remains intact.

Good lucks guys and whats your opinions?.

When you say traditionally, you mean recently right? Cos I'd say Tottenham have a great tradition of winning cups.

"Cos I'd say Tottenham have a great tradition of winning cups."

In the lifetimes of most of the current squad, not really.

My question is though mate, how do the spurs board value the club, where in the game are they now and where do they want to be???? spurs have blundered big time and have paid dearly i think due to a wee stint in a European competition. with the sale of bale that that money would have been spurs future sorted, building a team that will not only challenge for a top 4 finish but guarantee top 4 and european football.

The board have to go i think and politicians run this country the same way - - they want it all and its greed.

ENIC see a possible future.
But they are not going to do a Sugga Daddy FC to get it.
The owner is totally hands-off, so no notions of a plaything or vanity project.
