I was chatting to a bloke today in the pub, a northerner, from Oxford I think( or somewhere up north like that)
anyway, the conversation about footy went on, and on, and on. then he came out with the classic statement, "I tell it like it is".
I tried to point out that he was "telling it as he saw it", and not necessarily "as it is".
this concept seemed to go over his head and he didn't understand.
it really annoyed me to be honest.
"telling it like it is"

Lauds,
im afraid I cant make it to the award ceremony this year, I am busy working on future comments for JA606 at the moment. im sure you understand that my career MUST come first, although I will always find time for my fans.
I will look into some sort of satellite link up though.
