It was plain to see that both Flood and Hodgson are not in the same league as Jonny Wilkinson based on the abysmal English performance today. Shontayne Hape also should not be on the plane. Mike Tindall was the only English back to look threatening apart from one break by Danny Care. Martin Johnson has his work cut out for him. The forwards were outplayed by the Welsh at the breakdown. The English back row were anonymous.

I completely agree, as a Welshman!
Neither team deserved to win today, however, through the English performance, I could have expected more but Flood and Hodgson are just far too predictable in every situation they are in. England NEED a fly-half with confidence to take the points in every situation near the opposition posts, through runs, passes or dropgoals.
Wales were poor on lineouts today, and their discipline was atrocious! I was thoroughly disappointed after today to be honest.

I thought the problems were more then individual. Seems to me that the direction and game plan was way off. England were trucking it and to be fair thats something i have not associated with England in the last couple of years.
Even Johnson said it before the game when talking to Greenwood. "were a running team" but that certainly did not show.
So seems to me the game plan and style of play is not yet clear in the minds of the players. I would not be so quick to throw individuals under the bus.

theyre probably keeping it up their sleeve.
remember wales in 03 ? didnt throw a pass until the new zealand game, and suddenly they were the harlem globetrotters.
