I just need answering. As football fans we all think of our clubs as the best the world had ever seen but with Tottenham where do you as fans see the club and it's standing both domestically and internationally?
I get the feeling (may be wrong) and have felt this for some time that the fans and media it has to be said hold Tottenham Hotspur in some kind of high regard and as some kind of sleeping giant deserving of the top echelons of English football.
That finishing outside the top four is a failure? Is this really the case? With 2 top flight titles in its history Wolverhampton Wanderers and Huddersfield Town hold more prestige.
Granted Tottenham are a good cup side historically and are doing well in the cups this season but in terms of league performance you are about where you should be.
What's with all the fuss?
The burning question

No,I say,we should keep striving and if we upset rival fans and especially the media ,with their CL darlings, all the better!

Who are the 'media darlings' these days? To be fair Liverpool have had a rough time in the papers over the last few years, as have United this season. Citeeh are new to the scene.
I think - generally - Spurs get an easy ride from the media, with the obvious exception of AVB. And Ramos. And the Jol sacking ... But in fairness they were all terrible decisions/actions, so you can't really blame the media

Re. unsettling Harry, he did that all by himself. He whipped up the media frenzy - he wanted the England job desperately.
Re. Ramos, Santini and AVB - let's be honest - none were good managers and we became a laughing stock under AVB and Ramos. And we probably would've done under Santini had he been given more than 10 games...
