Give him a chance

Firstly, although losing to west ham at home is never a good thing, extra time would have been bad for sunday and ultimately we would have lost to city anyway.
The performance is the most important thing and fair play to Sherwood he played two up front and brought adebayor back and you can't say that we played badley offensively. Got the ball out wide early to lennon and townsend, adebayor was at the heart of most of our attacks and for once our strikers actually ran the channels. We didn't create as many chances as we should of but were good value for our lead and scored a terrific goal. Unfortunately our defence was very poor and I'm afraid that capoue can't play centre back and chiriches has a lot to learn. We simply couldn't deal with west ham's areal threat and the two goals were almost inevitable. But Tim Sherwood has only had a few days to work with the squad and lets judge him after a few premiership games.

He has not even got the right level of coaching badges. The whole thing is just ridiculous and I would be of this opinion even if we went on a winning run.

We need a proper manager!

And I mean manager not coach.

experience is the key now.

I agree that it would be a massive risk to even appoint Sherwood as interim manager due to his obvious limited experience however at the moment there aren't too many options available.

he was understandably naive

His starting 11 was spot in for me, bringing Adey back, loved how he was hungry tonight, looked lively,

Townsend going off was key. And Adey, wish he kept 4-4-2. They were no real threat

Just played into West Hoofs hands, they played % balls. Deep and into the box, looking for second phase football, picking up the flicks. They were bound to score eventually.

We kept giving away free kicks in hoof territory

Loved the line up apart from siggy ( would of much preferred Eriksen or holtby) ... It was an attacking line up abs we looked dangerous then his lack of experience really come into play and lost us the game with the Ade sustitution

Our lineup was like every bad early 90s football cliche turned into reality: big man, little man up front; flying wingers with little end product; no.10 shoehorned into the midfield two; deep defensive line that eventually conceded to hoof balls. If that was indicative of what Sherwood has to offer we need to get someone else in as soon as possible, not least because playing this way marginalises two of our most promising summer signings, Eriksen and Lamela.
