Well I know it would be a miracle to find a manager within such a short period of time but the fact Tim Sherwood is in command vs. Southampton leaves me with very little hope.
If he does what he did last night and basically try and do the opposite of AVB then we're in for a bad, bad game. I predict he will go 4-4-2 again, probably opting for Defoe and Adebayor.
4-4-2 away, against a decent Southampton team will leave us very exposed and I really do fear the scoreline.
Call me negative and accuse me of not giving the guy time, but he looked clueless/anonymous last night and that was indicated by the substitutions he made (I know Townsend was forced).
8 points off 4th by Sunday evening I'm afraid

Soldado will definitely be playing at Southampton.

We didn't boss that game. We lost at home ffs, if anything we got bossed by what everyone thinks was an inferior opponent
Sure the first 20 minutes were good to see but we didn't make it count. Inevitably our tempo dropped and our makeshift defence crumbled. Very disappointing outcome. And it could have been worse if Lloris didn't intervene on several occasions
imo AVB shouldn't have been fired so hastily, unless we have actually lined somebody up to take his place. It doesn't look like thats the case though

Chicken you say we bossed the game but i dont remember too many chances where their keeper was tested.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think people are confusing the term "bossing the game" to "shots on target".
One is "bossing the game". The other "the amount of shots on target".
Anyone who criticizes that performance or the tactics clearly did not watch the game.
Yes, we need to defend high balls better, yes we need to make our domination count but that was so refreshing from the side-side crab passing we've had for the last 18 months.
Defoe missed chances - he needs to sort that out. But how much more of a team did we look? .
Give it 1 month & we'll all be praising that sacking as the biggest turning point. Trust me
