Good point. We were linked with Guarin and the stockpilers are now in for him too. One of the main reasons FFP needs to be more stringently applied. Chelsea buying up midfielders just to prevent them joining a perceived rival is something that shouldn't be allowed to continue undeterred.

In all fairness Mourinho's system needs someone like Guarin. Mikel is rubbish fatty is getting old,as to is Essien and the rest are attackers. Ramires is there only real all round CM.
United don't need Guarin anyway we have Carrick, jones, giggs, ando, cleverly,rooney, and De Gea who can all play that deep CM role at world class standard.

I'd rather keep Buttner. With the right coaching I still think there's a decent defender in there. He seems to have a good attitude and looks to be a fighter to me
