Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust

has issued the following statement:

"Following the departure of Andre Villas-Boas on Monday morning and defeat in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday evening, the board of Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust believe it is paramount that the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Daniel Levy, issues a statement addressing the supporters to explain the rationale behind the manager's dismissal and clearly stating his plans moving forward.
"We believe that now, more than at any time during ENIC's ownership of THFC, the level of frustration and anger being shown by fans renders this request fully warranted. As ever, it is made in the best interests of our club."

This is an excellent statement and I hope Daniel Levy takes heed and responds.

You mean the man who was heralded as a miracle worker / excellent businessman / genius / hero just a few months earlier

I'd like to issue my own statement to that particular party:

"Following the 5-0 hammering at the hands of Liverpool FC why have the fans / supporters clubs suddenly had a change of heart. They too shared the same optimism as Mr Levy so perhaps they can forgive him for being grossly offbase"

Imagine someones opinion changing over the space of 6 months. Beggars belief.

Im sure you have always held Suarez in the same contempt since his summer transfer antics?

Clown.

Metro,

The statement doesn't question Levy' ability or his past dealings. It simply asks for an explanation of the clubs strategy.

We can then make a judgement.

I know you just like fishing for attention so my condolences to whatever part of your life suffers for this.

I don't think I've ever posted one comment/article that's negative about Suarez. As a matter of fact, I was criticised for refusing to want him out of the club.

So lets stop with the name calling and have an intelligent discussion about your demise

In all fairness you could turn that around and say that he never asked for your opinion. But you gave it anyway.
