I'm glad we sold that . Didn't like the way the team was based around him hopefully scoring great goals, wanted more all-round output from someone playing behind the striker and also from the rest of the team.

Think we bought 2 players too many. Eriksen, soldado, chiriches, capoue and a quality winger would have been enough for me.

Selling Bale was essential, the money we got was at least £30m more than he was worth.

I was one of AVB's main supporters, sad to see him go but understand the reasons why. If it is true that he refused to play Ade after Levy & Baldini spoke to him then he effectively left them with no choice.

We are paying Ade £100k a week, and City are paying him a further £80k on top, if he is on the books we needed to use him. He was our best player on Wednesday and should start Sunday!

.to be fair Ericson is pure class. Saldado is a v good player too. Suarez for us used to miss way more than he scored and im sure Saldado will find his form. Dont know much about this Lamello dude (whatever his name is - winger from roma or lazio)

Bale signed a contract the summer before he left. No big deal really.

We aren't even half way into the season, can't believe people expect everything to fall into place straight away, no nothing about football.

Contract just mean the selling club get the best deal
