There goes another one

Van Gaal has reportedly stated he is not interested in managing two teams at the same time. So it seems that is another man Levy can cross off his list.

He follows Laudrup, Pocchetino and De Boer in stating they wouldn't want he Spurs job at this time.

Sherwood is adamant he does not want the job short term so where does Levy go from here? It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next week or so.

Chicken

Sherwood has stated he only wants it long term. Would you be happy then if Levy gave Sherwood a 4 year deal?

===============================

Its a tricky one and I cant make up my mind. He's very inexperienced as a manager yet he is producing good displays and the players seem to want to play for him.

I think he's getting a bit carried away by wanting it all or nothing as I would have thought anyone in his position would be grateful to be named the boss until the end of the season to show what he's got.

The only reason I wouldn't suggest a 4 year deal is because they normally come with big compensation packages and its just a joke that managers like AVB pick up £4.5m for being a failure.

I'm happy for him to have it for the rest of the season though.

Sherwood has already had a few sly digs at the way Levy runs the club which I wouldn't think is an especially wise thing to do.

Some reports are saying levy watched yesterday's game in holland with van gaal,if that's the case then levy must have had some encouragement.

If Sherwood tells levy that he's not happy with doing the job until the end of the season then hoddle would be a good short term fix.

The way I see it, Sherwood is more interested in his own gins, Hoddle genuinely seems to care bout spurs and the clubs interests. Hoddle till the end of the seson over Sherwood any day for me.
