Not denying his talents but he was Invisible once again in a big match. First against us, then City and now Chelsea. He hardly set world on fire against Dortmund either.
Not really a big game player is he? Or he certainly hasn't been so far.
Rooney has more goals & more importantly MORE ASSISTS than him too, so much for him being the best number 10 in the world like we were being told in summer.

then if you think Young is a crap footballer you need to watch a lot more football through the leagues and you will soon find out what crap really is.

Relative to our club. Obviously I wasn't talking about every pro and semi pro footballer on the entire planet.
He's not good enough for Man Utd. Simple as.

I never took Ozil to be a player that takes charge or control of matches. Do world class players need to do that? I believe he is more of a facilitator. A platform for the teams attacking half to perform in. Basically make the attackers seem better than they are. But if they are crap, there isn't much he can do. He isn't a Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira or a Steven Gerrard. I think the top teams target him and try to cut him off, Arsenal's play improved when he came in so he has lifted them, it is just the better teams know how to play against Arsenal.

well tbf to ozil in the games mentioned, utd, city, chelsea most of the arsenal players didnt really cover themselves in glory, hes never been a player to grab the game by the scruff of the neck he needs help from others who are performing aswell, also as people have said he will still be getting used to a diff set of teammates, their runs, movement etc, would still take him at utd in a heartbeat

Hahahaha Ozil is better than any midfielder United have had in the past 20 years that includes Mr. Overrated ginger pubes

Inventor, Scholes could do what Ozil does and more.
Keane was a better player too. If those two were around in the prime, they'd be worth more than Ozil.

Ozil has been here 4 months, while rooney been here for his entire career... and the OP is actually comfortable crowing about 1 or 2 more assists Shows how far United fans have fallen.
It's sad, really.
