Dim Sherwood appointed til next season.

I'll be amazed if Sherwood makes a fist of this job. I have no time for Spurs but they are a big Club and should aim higher than they have here.

Made me laugh when some Spurs fans thought Hiddink or Heynckes would come out of retirement just to come rescue their season

The same Hiddink who's best mates with Roman of course

What are Sherwood's credentials for the Spurs job ?
Has he ever actually managed before ? If so at what level ?

They had AVB and now they've got AVB lite.

it's a long shot but seems like Sherwood is very influential at Spurs and feels he can do a better job than anyone else

That's a fair point but if reports are to be believed, AVB's alienation factor with Spurs had more to do with the people upstairs than the majority of the players (where with us it was very much the other way round).
Sherwood appears to be a divisive option among their support - RDM had much more of a backing from our support from the start, which must help any inexperienced manager.

Shouldn't laugh as you never know what he may achieve at Spurs.
