by Admin1 (U1) 5 June 2011Comment on this Article Just though we better issue some more information regarding the downtime. This was caused by a DDoS, which is a distributed denial of service. In other words, an attack on the functioning of the site.

This is not the same as being hacked. No data within our system was compromised or accessed. So you don't need to worry about changing passwords or emails etc.

As per good practice we also encrypt all passwords inside our database system.
