It wouldn't take too much for India to drop to 4th in the rankings.
After this series is over, they will be behind England and South Africa with some interesting series coming up.
Even the once mighty Australians are only above Pakistan by a few points.
When the Indians visit Australia for the 4 match test series in December, we could be seeing the 4th place side against the 7th place side. That really would be a minnows series.

When Australia held the No.1 ranking it took a long while for them to lose that status but it's going to take a lot longer before we get it back.......
Do you all remember India whinging all the time when they couldn't bridge the gap from themselves to OZ and were carrying on like babies of how un-fair the system was.......funny how they didn't mind the system when they finally got there.......get ready for more whinging and comments of how they are still the real No.1's regardless of the rankings suggesting otherwise....well done England..
