Please don't compare him to McKenna! He's twice the player McKenna was as he can actually run forward and beat a man. McKenna had one good season for us, sitting in front of the back 4 and mopping up but he wasn't a great passer of the ball like Vaughan. Sorry but that's just my opinion.

The thing that concerns me is that Sunderland are supposedly interested in Lascelles and he could be using as bargaining tool. Also saw us link with Wickham for upcoming window

He reminds me of Dave Phillips, from way back when.

If he could hit a ball like Phillips that would be great. Phillips scored some crackers in the Frank Clark era. Sunderland may try and do some kind of deal involving Lascelles but hopefully Forest would stand firm. There will be plenty of clubs keeping tabs on Vaughan an will have noticed that he is playing well so Forest need to move quickly if they want to secure a deal.
He is a better all round player than McKenna, although McKenna was one of the best leaders I have seen in a Forest shirt. Probably just behind Psycho and Bombet Bowyer IMO.
