Strikers that we might get in January

Ok no top strikers are ever officially available in January and it is never a great time to buy but needs must and it is imperative we bring in a striker.

Diego Costa apparently has a £32 million release clause and in my opinion it would be well worth activating this clause and seeing if we can tempt him with a January move to Chelsea.

Even if we can only make his move happen in the summer it would be well worth it as his transfer value will only keep rising at a rapid rate.

If we can't get Costa then maybe we can look within the Premiership. Dzecko is a top class striker who probably needs to move from City if he wants the first team football he craves. We could certainly give him that at Chelsea although I'm aware that City selling to us is unlikely.

So what are our other options? There are a few lesser known PL strikers I like the look of. Norwich's Gary Hooper is starting to look the part since his move from Celtic. Remember how well Hooper played at Celtic and he has Champions League experience.
