The Cumbrians V The Posh

Peterborough play Carlisle on Sunday.

Here's hoping that the weather is neither blustery nor wetter - the main car park at Brunton Park has already been closed due to flooding.

Carlisle seem to have half their team missing, so the Posh must take advantage; something which is unfortunately becoming a novelty for them.

It's no use Peterborough just taking the lead, they must aim to be 3-0 up by half-time.

Lighten the bleak mid-winter with a storming win (and lift it with a win against Brentford on New Year's Day)!

UTP!!

Well, the sun's shining down here in Peterborough. Here's hoping the Posh bravehearts who ascend to Brunton Park and the Cumbrian support enjoy a sunny game tomorrow.

C'mon the Posh!

I think you'll beat Carlisle comfortably. For some strange reason I think we'll get something at Bradford, I've no idea why!

Ajose is doing well for us...a bit lightweight but can take a chance when it comes along. He's our top scorer if you include the JPT. I'm not sure we'll be able to afford him if you want to move him on in January. Most Town fans would like to see him signed permanently, particularly now the idiot Ranger's time seems to finally have run out.

You stand a good chance, Don, particularly if Hanlon remains unavailable. Wells without him, did nothing at London Road. As for Ajose, I'm sure you would be able to sign him. His Posh career never really took off and he deserves to be playing first-team football somewhere. As he's scoring for you maybe he's found his true home.

Hoping we both win tomorrow.

The worst of all possible games for the Posh - an inconsistent if not dodgy ref, a sending off, a missed penalty and (after scoring a superb goal) Tomlin yellow-carded and therefore now suspended for the game against Brentford. Grim-listening. Why no Mendez-Laing on the bench? Why allow Sir Alex into the ground (to witness/generate yet another Posh loss)?

Lady-luck, please re-visit the side on Wednesday!

Sounds like one of those days when everything goes t*ts up!

Brentford are due a defeat...I'd love to see you stick it to them on New Years Day.

Yes, that's about right Don. Your draw away against Bradford was an OK result. As for Brentford, the fact that they are due a defeat may well help us.
