The main problem for the op, is the fact that everton, are the old everton.

Some very red tinted specs in this article. Milner is miles better than Downing. How can anyone justify Carroll being better than Carew was. Carew scored regularly. Carroll is just considered to be good by Liverpool fans based on the price tag. I'm yet to see any evidence that he is even worth 10 million.

Absolute rubbish, Milner is one of the most overrated players around, he is distinctly average. Downing has been the 5th best chance creator in the league for the last few seasons, only behind Fabregas, Gerrard, Lampard and Giggs. Milner is nowhere near.

Also Carroll got 13 league goals last season, much more than Carew, you are possibly one of the most deluded people on here.
