Did anybody on here make use of the fan park facility set up before the match at the Barnsley Metrodome?
It seemed to work really well and the leisure centre must've made an absolute killing. I'm sure pints were a reasonably-priced £3 or so and given the volume of people inside they must've sold well over 2,000 pints.
It's obviously not worth setting-up anything similar at Pride Park for visiting fans as no other away support in the league compares to ours and so wouldn't be worth the energy. But can anybody see the use and/or appeal in something not-too-different being arranged for our fans at home games, possibly once the velodrome has been completed?

I can never understand why there was no proper pub built near Pride Park. I know the one near the Keepmoat in Doncaster takes about £20,000 on a match day if a big club is playing.

Spart...there isn't enough custom away from match days for too many pubs in pride park.

It was amazing to see an orderly queue stretching about 40 yards.
