There is a great wildlife video which has gone viral on YouTube, you might have seen it. It shows three lions that have somehow become stranded in the Australian outback being attacked by a mob of kangaroos. Remarkable footage. I’d post the link, but many on here might find it disturbing.
The kangaroos surround their quarry and in a ferocious, concerted effort disembowel the stranded lions. A particularly vicious ringleader, easily identifiable by a tuft of facial hair around the mouth and unique markings to the skin, repeatedly rises up on his hind leg and, with the long central claw, inflicts a series of fatal wounds to the soft underbelly of the hapless creatures.
At the end of the massacre, each of the kangaroos displays an unusual act of dominance by urinating over the bloody corpses.
Wildlife experts examining the dead lions noted they were devoid of testes. Concerns are now held that this particular sub-species, known as the British Lion, may go extinct.
