I see him going back to Inter at some point and tbh once he does that I'd say the decline in his career starts from there, Madrid was his downfall and he knows it. I disagree. Give him a season and a half, I think he'll shine again. I don't particularly like him, but I don't think you can judge him until he's had a couple transfer windows.

Can't remember where I read it, perhaps on here, but someone said it feels like he should have taken a year out like Pep before his next management role after Madrid. Can't help but agree with that too

He should have but his ego is so wide. He was prepared for United but then to miss out made him so desperate to get into work. The break would have been healthy for him but at the same time, being left with his thoughts after losing out on the job could also have torn him apart
