Figures released for the year ending June 2013 show £164m debt.
Bolton's turnover last season was £28m, and that includes £16m parachute payment for their first season back in the Championship. Other broadcasting rights were £3m, gate receipts just under £4m and advertising and corporate income £2.5m.
Of the £164m debt, £151m is owed to major shareholder Eddie Davies.
Whatever else happens to Albion, whatever we think of Jeremy Peace at times, let's hope we never go the Bolton way.

Well, the figures show a loss for 2012-13 of £51m, so with a turnover figure of £28m that means costs for the season were £79m.
That went largely as follows:
Wages (incl players) £37m
Player trading loss £20m (contract write-offs etc)
Admin costs £14m

Aries - it just serves to show what a financial tightrope Peace has to walk with limited resources and the pressure to keep the club in the top flight. Bolton bought in some top players - Djorkaeff, Okocha, Rivaldo and Anelka - and still went down. They did well for 6 or 7 years. Hope we can better that but we cannot afford to make many mistakes buying the wrong players.

Aries, I'm hardly surprised at their losses.
You may remember me telling you about booking Bolton's pre-season USA tour a couple of years ago before the 2011/12 season when they were relegated. Even then money and cost didn't seem to matter and the culture seemed spend, spend, spend, albeit they must have been in huge debt even then.
I echo your sentiments that JP follows a stringent fiscal policy and long may that continue.
That said, I was surprised in what he must have agreed to pay out for Anichebe and Sess which, in my 'umble opinion, was somewhat excessive and, I believe, contributed in no small way to SC's dismissal as you can't truthfully say either of them are earning their keep. If it was SC who instigated their purchase, he would be in line for the subsequent flak.
