We were just about to right him off (some of us anyway)... Then he hits a purple patch (I know its just 2 games but what performances) and reminds us of what he's capable of!!!
I love AL but even I was getting tired of his sick note routine... I wonder how many games will get from him before he hands in another note
Till then though

I have never understood dome of the fans attitude towards Lennon IMO he is always a threat just because of his pace and he does add a lot of excitement to our play.
Ok his crossing is not always great but he also drags the oppositions wide left man backwards because the full back is so worried about him.
As for Sherwoods subs today IMO he is extremely lucky that the win has made a lot of people overlook them because they were risky to say the very least and IMO we were very lucky to get away with them.

==============
I think his crossing is on par with many good wingers but because of his historic wayward 50p crosses in the early days, now everyone looks out for the bad ones rather than the good ones (that dont always get converted). For example, Soldado missed another sitter from one of his crosses that was simply inch and pace perfect.
Soldado isnt the only culprit though but this is just to say that if our strikers were, how shall i say it? more on form, then Lennon's assists would be through the roof.
And for a small, non-physical winger, he acts as a good defender too. He just seems to put the attacking player in a cul-de-sac or just nips the ball away.
A very important player for us and form permitting, should always play when fit.

He put in a hell of a shift yesterday, that right side just looks stronger with him and Walker in tandem

Vertonghen
He did okay on the left too, nearly creating a goal from himself out of nothing. In hindsight maybe he should have passed it - or simply shot into the other corner - but when he's playing like this i couldnt care less that a few crosses are not pin-point.
Keep it going Azza...

I was actually glad to see him take the shot yesterday, I've always felt one of the things that has held him back has been a reluctance to shoot. Good to see him taking on the responsibility now, and a few more goals will do him the world of good.

I have always defended azza IMO he is one of the few players that creates a buzz of excitement when he gets the ball.
One player this season who has grown up and is turning into a really decent player is Walker as well yet last season he was getting slaughtered left right and centre
