I thought Vidic and Ferdinand looked a little slow against Man City .. they where not great again today.

Jones may well get a early chance to grab his place.

The first 20 mins from untied were fantastic, unfortunately being the first game of the season, they couldn't keep it up. In a few games time we should see a much more consistent tempo. The injuries also didn't help. Ando and Cleverly covered a lot of ground and I'm sure they would have been subbed off had we had no injuries.

Well rio is going to be out anywhere from 3-8 weeks, depends if its a pull or tear, but it will be at least 3weeks.

I hope Vida is back soon.

Evra will also be back for next week.
