Sorry fella I just can't see this one. No one in Football has a bigger ego than Ronaldo but Mourinho worked with him at Real and would have needed certifying if he had tried to exclude him from the team. Mourinho would get in bed with the devil himself if the devil was the key to winning the next game.

But he had a falling out with Ronaldo didn’t he?
I think Jose does have an ego issue. He wants the success of his teams to be down to him…the ‘special one’….and it must have driven him mad when he realised at Madrid that not only where the players more popular than him, they also had more influence and power too?

Also, I think he’s stubborn. A bit like Rafa to an extent with Terry and Robbie Keane at Liverpool. When he’s constantly told to play someone or give more game time to a fans favourite, rest assured he will make sure he does the complete opposite.

Anyone get the feeling that the JA606 board is now accessible in Indian callcentres, creches and funny farms?

Rover, but during his falling out with Ronaldo he still picked him did he not?

I repeat, with Mourinho it's results that matter over everything.

I'd argue Jose dropping Mata, because of...
..............'Ego' is Bull$hit.

In fact, i'd say the fact Jose has a massive ego is the reason i do believe it was because Jose beleived he was doing the right thing for Chelsea Football Club.

The thing about Jose and that ego of his, is Jose loves Jose too much to ever deliberately harm his own career. I don't believe for a second he'd drop a player that he knew would improve his chances of being a successful football manager, because of his ego.

I could be wrong. But my own ego is telling me i'm right
