What's the best way to get to Leicester and back next friday evening/night?
I'm taking my wifey out to watch our mighty rams and I have no idea about the Leicester area or even how to get there, I can always follow our lot on the train but that seems very stalker to me without actually knowing where to go.
Or would jumping on a bus be better? Pretty sure I have seem them going through Alvaston every now and then, would there be one running back to Derby after the game?
Normally I'd drive but I plan on having a few jars on my travels.
Any constructive replies welcomed

I live in Leicestershire but despise the dump of a city!
The road network is sh**e and the signposting inexistent!
The train is bearable so that's my recommendation.

Should have been "wouldn't want to". Only 100% wrong.

Spart - there are some exams where you answer would have been deemed to be 78% right in that you had 11 of 14 characters right.
In the old FSA days, you could get your licence to sell investments etc having scored 70% in a product specific test. Or, as I used to point out to the compliance chaps, getting it wrong 30% of the time was fine!

Well I was brought up with hard mathematical logic Peeder. One of our lecturers used to give zero if you didn't get the right answer to a numerical problem. None of this you used the right method namby pamby stuff. His argument was, say if you were designing a bridge even if you used the right method, if you got it wrong either the bridge cost too much to build or it fell down.

I built a bridge once. And got over it.
That one's just for you Ray.
