Dickov stay or go?

I'm gutted we've been knocked out the cup but this has to be the final straw now, surely he needs to go! He's a poor poor manager when will the board see or are they all as bad as each other! Just a vote for everyone, vote 5 stars for him to go vote 1 star he stays!

Still can't get my head round today's game, how can we play so good one game, then be so krap the next 5/6.

I am sorry Alex, but Dickov and his clan are not the answer. We would be better reverting to Flynn an Jones for the rest of the season.

I know your views on SC, but we do need investment NOW if we are to get anywhere near staying in the Championship.

If we do go down and lose the 6 million, do you honestly not expect our present owners to try and cut their losses and sell to anyone daft enough to buy the club.

Mind you I suppose Silent Majority ( Martin) of the VSC would be first in line to pick up the pieces if they were to GIVE the club to a sup[porters consortium at a knock down price, along with all his other VSC cronies.
My other big gripe is in relation to our esteemed CEO, who I thought initially was a breath of fresh air. Where is Baldwin, he should be the mouthpiece for TB and DW in their absence but he seems very much in the background, frightened to become involved.

He should be putting pressure on his two bosses to get rid of what is ailing the club from a playing point of view.

Gavin should have been the mouth piece for the board and I can only think his hands are tied for whatever reason, a very bad decision. I reserve my judgement on the board to when I see and hear exactly what they do in this crisis.
Look out for the infamous words "The managers job is safe"

Just listened to YD's interview and boy is he under pressure.
Sounds as though he has to move players out before he can get players in. So on the one hand he needs money for players and on the other Bramall saying he must stick to his budget, a rock and a hard place springs to mind.
He could have accepted some responsibility for that performance but he never did.

I found it interesting what he said about Richie "he is an honest boy and he would have told me about the QPR thing if anything was going on" Really, with Harry (and Rosie) involved?

Just had a pint and watched Leeds lose 2 - 0

I feel a lot better now.

A returning S OD isn't the answer in my opinion.
That won't bring the crowds flooding back.

I was away yesterday so I donated my ticket to a friend. He may forgive me in time. After his tenure at Oldham I had deep reservations about PD, but like a lot of fans I was swayed by talk of developing talent and high quality loan players from top clubs. Wellans and Duffy have performed, Stevens and Yun are ok, but Macheda, Robinson and Wabara have been poor. (I can't even think about Cotterill without bursting into tears.) Losing Spurr, McCombe, Jones, Husband and Keegan to Blackburn and injury respectively hasn't helped but again one wonders about training. Last season we had very few long term injuries. Luck? PD is either incompetent or the unluckiest manager around. In either event I think it's time to end his suffering and let Frodo/Jones take over to try to build a hard to beat core team in preparation for embellishment in the summer and next season in Div One.

First of all, i didnt hear anyone chanting or singing in the south stand yeaterday, never mind anyone calling for SOD to return.
If there was a shout for him it must have been from one person !!.
Developing talent from the youth team?
No chance of surviving if the likes of young Wakefield is what we have to look forward to.
BVZ on another thread seems to have knowledge that QPR are not involved in talks with Wellens so PD's comments are not strictly untrue are they?
If PD does get chopped then i would not be infavour of either DS or SOD coming back, perhaps a FLynn/Jones combo would be the best thing right now until our incompetent owners decide which direction they want the club to go.
At the moment their silence is deafening and the only way is down.

When I mentioned the chant for Sean I was not suggesting that he should be re employed in fact I would prefer that he wasn't. I have checked with my brother and he is certain that he did hear it. My point was "how fickle supporters can be"
Obviously I don't go along with the owners being incompetent but I don't like the silence. I just don't understand it because the way they are handling things they are giving the advantage to the opposition wanting the regime change. I would have recommended going on the attack and exposing the lies that have be told.
I go along with your view on the youth players especially Wakefield, he is not ready for this level of football but perhaps 1st Div experience will bring him on.

I did have a fiendishly clever scheme to bring some talented youths from America to add to Donny's youth set up but when McKay got involved it fell flat on its face in the end. If you talk to Bally sometime I think he knows what I had in mind. It had to be youth players because there would have been problems gaining Green Cards for experienced college players. I know that in the past Leeds and Burnley had both chased the same connection but that's life you win some and you lose some and the show goes on.
