Nothing can compare with the shame of that Cup Competition exit.
Just look at the squad Lambert put out today. It was appalling and that was literally a starting 11 in most games. Our squad is abysmal and if anyone says otherwise they need to open there eyes. Appalling football and the fact were so poor at home sums us up. Villa Park is now a hoodoo for us like Wembley is for England. Fear and 5h1te football every home game. Slightly less 5h1te away from home.
Pennies to spend on bargain bin players.
Lerner and Lambert out!
Utter garbage and deserved every damn BOOOO going.
At least it wasn't Bradford

Lambert seems to be a clueless manager.
And Lerner. The worlds only TIGHT billionaire.
What a pair!
I hope, for Villas sake, that they both do the decent thing and bog off!

isn't our future king a villa supporter, if this was 400 years ago he could chop all the other managers heads off and burn all the stadiums ala the monasteries and have a dig at the pope too while he's at it

Can't he still do that? Oh...pity.

Lambert looked like a good young manager before he came to Villa, yet he has been a massive disappointment. Both he and Lerner are no longer backed by me - Lerner doesn't care and should just sell to someone who would give a ****, and Lambert's buys have been largely terrible. And the half decent to good ones seem to have a habit of getting crocked (Okore and Kozak). He picks awful players every week like Westwood and Baker who are not PL standard. It is difficult operating under a budget, but look at Swansea and Southampton: they haven't spent much (Bony and Ozvaldo are exeptions) and still play cracking football and have a good set of technical footballers. We play awful football and have a set of under-qualified players for a team like Villa and a league like the PL.
Utterly depressing to be a Villa fan right now and nothing will be done. We're stuck with Lerner and Lambert for eternity and yet again look like we won't spend on a couple of quality players this month.
Surely one day it will feel good to support Aston Villa again but right now I can't tell when that day will be.

Lambert has to go
Your first team just lost at home to league one relegation candidates Sheffield United

Why on earth did Lambert put out our first eleven, after saying the competition was second best. He could have put out the reserves, who at least would have something to prove. Stick Helenius and Bowery on from the start, play Gardner, draft in Johnson, etc.

Talking about Prince William - can someone beg him to pump some of the royal's money into the club? 100 million should be enough to get enough quality on that field to play good football and win games. And maybe we can get rid of Lambert too while we're at it.

You have a randy lerner when he gets up to speed youll be fine

Well Lambert has got his wish: the club can focus entirely on the league. And should they end up in or near the relegation zone at the end of the season he'll have no excuses other than his own.

If we do get rid of Lambert I struggle to see who else we could get.
Dark days indeed to be a villa fan.
Still, could be worse. We aren't Birmingham City at least.
