That's probably the most I've enjoyed a game this season, personally it's between tonight, Cardiff away and Liverpool at home. I think tonight tops it. Spurs weren't at their best but even then we prevented them attacking fairly well and we were brilliant to watch at times. Most of the time. The whole team seemed on the same wavelength, even Vermaelen who had one or two nervy moments early on and Wilshere who needed a bit of time to get into the game performed well overall.
Theo offered the movement and team play that Podolski didn't provide against Cardiff and it really contributed to a great attacking performance. He helped create chances and a goal of his own would've been deserved, he came close himself on a couple of occasions. Hopefully the injury isn't too bad, but at least we got to see that wonderful moment of mutual respect with the Tottenham fans.
Other stand outs included Cazorla, Rosicky and Gnabry who were always there in attack, Santi was at the heart of everything we did. Rosicky was classy while also helping to break down their play as usual. The combined pace of Theo and Gnabry really caused Spurs some problems, we don't normally have to players who can beat a man like that in the team. If he gets some more chances in the league then Gnabry could definitely match the contribution of a young Ox in 2011-12.
The goals were both of great quality. Technically the first one's probably better with Theo's dummy run, Gnabry's dribbling and perfect pass and Cazorla's thumping finish but it's been a while since I've enjoyed a goal as much as Rosicky's tonight, his brilliant pressuring created a chance, his burst of acceleration sent him clear and the finish was just stunning.
With four Premier League teams already out and Man City having to face a replay after drawing with Blackburn I think we've got a great chance in the FA Cup, especially if we can keep up this level of performance and there are more upsets and kind draws.

I think because it wasn't a league game, as a fan, you feel less pressure when watching and can enjoy the game more

Whats the odds for Old Trafford away next?!

I'd like to think if we did go to Old Trafford we'd do better than last time. That was definitely one of our worst performances of the season, we were far too timid, didn't create enough and only lost 1-0 to a goal we could've done better on.
