According to some of you, Giroud has great link up play, helps with defending, creates goals for others and is currently of form having had a great start to the season. Thus, if fit he's a starter for us.
In all 3 games that Giroud hasn't played this season, we haven't conceded a single goal, winning all them by 2-0. That is Hull, Cardiff and Spurtz today. You could add eventually our CoC game away to WBA that finished 1-1 but that was with the 2nd team. Still, with Giroud starting our away PL game to WBA we got the same result.
Care to explain to my understanding please what makes him a definite starter for us assuming that all our strikers are fit? (ohh, and before you go about "is only 3 games", I shall remind you that Giroud's great form lasted only 4 games at the start of season. 4 games followed by another 4 dry. Wtf is so great in that form and makes him so special is beyond me). Many thanks!

You think we could genuinely play 4-4-2 with Ozil and Cazorla in the middle?
--------------------------------
No, you would play Ramsey and Flamini in the middle.
Ozil and Cazorla wide. Giroud static behind Walcott.

Cazorla for the movement and pace in the middle and Özil to place the passes in all directions.

Penguin,
A diamond 4-4-2 with Walcott on the right, Gnabry/Ox on the left and Ozil at the tip. Obviously with Flamini taking names at the back.

As i said wouldnt go so far to play like that all the time but if we face good organised defenses to break down at home I would play like that.

Giroud > Bendtner, Chamakh, Franny Jeffers, Park Chu, Gervhino, Diawara, Wreh, Aliadiere, Suker, Baptista
He's no Henry but he's in the top half of your wenger strikers

Look our problems have all stemmed from trying to replace Cesc.
Ozil doesn't score enough goals to replace Cesc. And Wenger has compared Ozil to Pires. Santi gets bullied in Cesc's position. Thats why Wenger shifted Santi wide at the end of last season.
So why not go back 4-4-2?
Santi (Freddie) Flamini (Gilberto) Ramsey (Vieira) Ozil (Pires)

-----------------Walcott (Henry)-----------------------------------

J99, I am a fan of that. Not playing that all the time but just another plan B.

Ramsey would need to be a lot more disciplined than he is now for that to work.

The point is gt, its our starting team. in 4-3-3 changing to 4-4-2.
Wenger does that in mid game. Wenger really should start with it because Giroud is too easy to mark.
Wenger actually changed to that against Man City. The problem was playing Wilshere and Ramsey as the deep 2. Flamini and Ramsey or Wilshere and it balances.
Right now only Rosicky knows how to play the Cesc position. Although he finished very well today, he doesn't score enough.
