Just throwing this out there.
Got his first goal of the season today!
Sometimes when we have had these creative players like Fabregas, Arshavin, more recently Carzorla and Ozil. It's easy to forget we have someone like Rosicky who is influential in our squad, and nearly always shines on the pitch, even if the stats seem to suggest he is doing very little.
New Contract?
Always enjoy having him in the team. It feels like he has been here forever and I for one would happy to see him here till his retirement!

Him and Sagna deserve new deals.

Sagna is hedging his bets I reckon. Plus he probably wants to go back to France. Hope he stays.

He's one of my favourite players...and I support Chelsea!

Would be interesting if somebody searched all the games that he has started this season. Wouldn't be surprised if they were all the big games...

Would be more interesting if someone updated the prediction league...

I loved the moment when Theo had gone off and we were down to 10 men, and he went up to Gnabry and gave some words of encouragement.

Only have to have seen his post-match interview to see how important he is for the club.
Had he avoided the long injury layoffs he's had since he joined Arsenal, I'm convinced we'd have won at least a couple more titles, be them league or cup.
Hope he stays

People were calling him garbage last year
It's about time people finally see what he brings to the team.

We need to give him a new contract. We've given new contracts to lesser players just because they're younger and show promise. Here we have a player whoddoesn't show promise - he shows accomplishment and gets results.
Rosicky has been one of our better - and more underrated - players for a while now and I think we need to recognise him.

We lack speed in midfield, Rosicky provides that - Wilshere does too to an extent and is more of a battler - but Wilshere also loses possession much more often in dangerous areas.
Rosicky is not much of a goal scorer - but we look a much more slick team when he is on the field. To keep him as a squad player for at least a year or two is an absolute no-brainer because our standard doesn't drop when he comes on.
