Schaaf ruled himself out then? Or in other words they couldn't sell him the job. If Peace wants a high calibre manager he has to relax his structure. Can somebody explain what is so special about Downing and Kiely that we are prepared to miss out on Schaaf and Mel to accomodate these two?
If I was Schaaf or Mel, working in a foreign country the first thing I would do is make sure I can bring in a couple of people I can trust to work alongside me. Was Clarke not allowed to bring Kevin Keen in? Pretty sure Hodgson brought in one or two of his own too.

Seems like a typical JP appointment to me,

Just to let you guys know Al Ain played this afternoon, drew 0-0 at home and Quique Sanchez Flores was there in charge of his team.
