As the Salah deal seems to be dragging and he is unproven in the premiership what about a look at Redmond from Norwich? Highly regarded possible Walcott replacement for England and surely wouldn't cost the 12m basil are holding out for?

Just remind yourselves on how Moyes performed at Everton

I know what you're saying James but Moyes signings were by and large pretty average.
I often hear that he was shrewd in the transfer market. But what does shrewd actually mean? To be astute and/or clever.
No trophies in ten years is far from clever in my opinion.

Slightly patronising 'righteous', I know they are professionals, this however is a fans site where I can give my thoughts and hopes I don't know what they are up to and would like to think that a holding midfielder is a priority not a winger..
The price goes above £10m and Salah becomes a first teamed with added pressure to perform, is he ready for that?

If i am honest, i dont see his game progressing much further. I hope I am wrong cause he is a young lad but as a Liverpool supporter he wouldnt offer anything different then what we already have.
So in summary its a NO

Well he is ready to score 17 in 26 for his country, and play well in the EL and the CL, so why not?
Every transfer is a gamble.
Also, just because we are possibly signing a winger doesn't mean we aren't looking at midfielders.

not fussed on salah. if we are getting a right winger I would want a Top Top player. the kind that attracts 25Mill bids from the CL clubs.
don't think we need a new DM, we are pretty stacked in midfield. people bang on about getting a physical presence in there without even thinking about the fact that such a player would upset our system of play
reinforcement of the right full back position is what we are crying out for Johnson has no competition and is walking his place in the first team. I wonder if wisdom will end up there next season though.

Quade is having a great season so hope he comes back to challenge for the right back position with flanno

Just remind yourselves on how Moyes performed at Everton. He never went above 1st and 2nd Dovision clubs to locate and sign pearls. Why can't our club do the same? I accept that BRs signings for this month have got to be quality that slot straight into the first team, not just squad, but its not easy. I don't know enough on Salah to make any comment, but I confess I am surprised we've made no purchases thus far. Time for patience?

And he never won a trophy using that approach.

Never ever looked like winning the league, rarely pushed for a top 4 spot. Perhaps not a model we should follow?
