I know he was very cautious in the past but those times are hopefully behind us, we are gracing a new promising era with resources in abundance and by adding Mesut Özil it became a game changer while smashing our transfer record in the process. Arsene Wenger knows that this is the best opportunity we've got to erase those barren years under austerity due to our move to The Emirates. He will have to buy this month to enable this wonderful side we have to finally cross the line and win the much coveted PL title at the end of current season. It has become imperative that he goes to the market to replace the goal threat we will sadly miss when Theo got ACL injury ending his season and hopefully, will come back stronger next season.

In January we cannot replace the goal threat lost by Walcott
I see us buying a back up to Giroud and involving the Ox and Serge plenty in Walcott's position

All this ACL talk is interesting by the way, I did mine (not sure how badly until tomorrow) at the end of December
I'm quick, and not sure how this injury will affect my ability in the future

You definitely need another top (and expensive) striker which I don't think he'll go for in this window, I can see him bringing in a stop-gap striker to cover for Giroud. Although that injury to Walcott may force his hand a little.
He should, and I think he will spend this window as you have an excellent chance to win the league and he needs to capitalise on your good first half of the season.

I believe behind the scene he is very active but as we know nothing gets done this early especially when it is a 'super quality' in the mould of our Özil, let's be patient I still believe he will get at least two bodies in, who? I haven't got a clue, but, Wenger knows we have a great chance and we can't afford to do nothing and risk losing momentum.

A CB is more readily available in January
I'm not saying don't sign a striker
Just what if Koscielny suffers a similar injury

If he can get a WC player he'll buy them. The talk of Costa with a clause for £34m if true might be enough to tempt him.

I know he signed a new contract but what about Nani?

Diego Costa or Draxler would be ideal. Draxler can play Walcott's position and, in time, be converted to a centre forward.
Berbatov or Pato would suffice.
To do nothing, would be inexcusable and would merit Wenger's removal as manager.

Sometimes arsenal fans have no brain... just think for once... which team is actually going to sell a decent player in a January transfer window... If you actually think Drexler, Costa are targets... please go away and support City, Chelsea or any other sc*m team. Quality will only arrive after the season is over.
