Playstation Now!

Sony has at CES unveiled Playstation Now, a streaming service which allows you to play PS3, PS2 and PS1 games through Gaikai.

This service, PS Now, will be incorporated into Sony's new TV models, so you won't even need a console to use it, and it can be streamed to tablets, Vita's, and just the TV's with this technology.

The Last of US is going to be one of the first games for it, woohoo!

It's rumoured to be a separate subscription from PS Plus so I probably won't get it early on as I'm sure the price to subscribe would be too much alongside PS plus, but I'll probably get it some time in the future.

Good to see there is a means to playing your old games on one console though This thing aims to be released in the US at the end of Summer, no news on UK and elsewhere though, but hopefully before christmas 2014.

How would you get the games though? Would you have to pay to buy them online?

So they let you play the old games with the same graphics, but you have to pay for them again and there's input lag?

What advantage does this have over just having the old ps3/ps2/ps1?

For lazy people.

What would I use to play through just the tv?
The remote?
Will Bravia TV's come bundled with a dual shock controller?

---------------

Tablets and Smartphones.

It'll probably be better to play the games on the PS2 or PS1 or PS3, but not everyone has these consoles anymore and would love to return to old classics.

It's just the convenience of not having buy a working condition ps2 or 1 again.

I'd love to go and replay TimeSplitters and MGS2 again!

Blueboy, you can use PS4 or PS3 controllers for these TV's
