Erikssen £10m

No offence Devonshire, but if Spurs sold that lot, they may as well just go straight to the championship.

If we were to sell Townsend I'd hope we could get 10m plus. He's young and British so could see him being attractive to a number of clubs. We sold Caulker for 9m who was in my opinion an inferior player.

WTF is this article all about. Why would Spurs want to sell all or most of their first team. What a bollox of an article.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Coming from the King of Bollox articles i guess you know what you're talking about Sandy

Most of you are misunderstanding the article.

What I am saying is if an offer came in for any of these players at the value stated, would you take it or not?

I am not promoting that we sell all these players, or any of them, I am not saying they are no good and need to go JUST would you entertain offers at this level ??

I think the words 'cut our losses' probably weren't the right ones then Devon

Why are people even considering the idea of selling Townsend? He's a decent LW, has good pace and and ability to beat the first defender,He is still young and will hopefully improve. We need him in the team/squad.( just not out on the right wing)

It's the wording you used. Would be strange to "cut our losses" with players who've done well.

I think its something to do with being home grown.

OK he's too keen on shooting from distance but if we'd paid good money for him we would be saying he was an exciting raw talent who just needs to get a better understanding of the PL and the team.

Before his injury he was starting to show signs that his overall game was improving, and that he had an ability to cross and make incisive passes. I wouldn't sell him as we will need him as cover for Lennon at the very least.
