Ramsey & Gibbs could return for Villa

http://news.arseblog.com/2014/01/wenger-ox-back-ramsey-gibbs-close-behind/

“Ramsey and Gibbs are very close. There is a small possibility that both of them could be available on Monday.

“Chamberlain is back and available and it is against Aston Villa again. That makes it five months where has been completely out, so that means he is fresh and that should give us a boost. Giroud and Ozil had a good training session yesterday and today they had no problem. They could be back."

Bendtner still could be up to three weeks, and Vermaelen is also a doubt for Monday.

You're a crack head TCOK.

Even with current injuries, our squad is looking strong for the second half of the season. I expect an unbeaten January... obviously upfront is the only area we appear short, but Giroud has coped so far. Our goals from midfield will continue to make up for his chicken foot.

I'm not so sure Alv, one injury to Mertesacker and we could also be in trouble there. I'm pretty confident in Kos and Verm as a partnership (more so than most anyway), but Mert is too important.

We will have to win all our January games if we are to stand a chance for the title, if we're being honest. That March/April schedule is frightening. Giroud has to go on a consistent run now.

But if City lose Kompany there defence looks shocking, if Chelsea lose Terry there defence will look shocking.

The top 3 are all in the same boat. Only one thing seperates the 3 teams and that's City's fire power. Hopefully the goals we've been scoring from midfield and the solidity of our defence can counteract that lack of fire power until the end of the season.

Kompany's been pretty shocking anyway tbh. So many mistakes. But you're right about City's firepower making up for it.

Think you're going overboard saying Chelsea will look "shocking" without Terry. Don't forget who their manager is.

I just feel that Mertesacker is unique in our squad. Chelsea have similar players to Terry, we can't say the same about Per.
