The Robins V The Posh

Peterborough visit Swindon this Saturday, hoping for a repeat of the result of the opening game of the season.

The Posh were a trifle lucky to win the home game. They will be extremely lucky to get a win on Saturday.

Skipper Tommy Rowe should be back from long-term injury, which will be a plus: and it would nice if high-scoring Rochdale striker Scott Hogan's agent would let him sign for the club ahead of Saturday's game.

Swindon are a good side, so I'd be happy with a draw in view of our recent form.

UTP!

Lower league fans are a different breed - always full of trepidation and caution...! Refreshingly different to attitudes in the upper echelons.

It's tough to call - Swindon have been very up and down this season, despite the strong home record. So with no real confidence in any prediction, I'll say 1-1.

You're right, George. When Posh were in the Championship, I had to battle the arrogance of the big club supporters.

1-1 would probably be a satisfactory result for Posh and Robins fans. Of course, if both teams were in the Championship ...

Ajose will score, that's for sure. All our ex players do, sometimes twice!

I'd certainly take 1-1...shall we do that?

I lived for 6 months in Peterborough in the late 60's. Had digs in a place called Stanground. But, although being a Town supporter, I used to go to their home games just to get out of the house. Since then, I have considered the 2 clubs to be almost identical. Highs & lows for each of us, but each club you would be proud to support. I would settle for a draw today, but rather be beaten if it means that Rotherham don't go up!

You must be smiling, TF. Impressive score against Derby. Promotion beckons ...

2-1 - listened to that one on the radio. Justice not done, confirming that this is not to be Posh's season. Dominant, but the victims of two defensive lapses. My main irk, though, is that Tomlin got himself sent off again - what a pl***er!

Oh well, we'll just have to win the FA Cup - that's if we can get past Kidderminster on Tuesday

Unlucky TP - defensive lapses are normally our speciality

Plenty of time to go in this league, and you never know, we might see you again in the play-offs.

Good luck for the rest of the season!

By all accounts you were hard done by, particularly in view of your dominance of the second half. Good luck against Kidderminster.

See you again in the JPT, you may well get your revenge then. As SG says, still a way to go.
