Sad reports coming through that Mae Young has been taken off life support and is near death.
I wrote the above paragraph last week, Mae Young has now died.
I didn't know much about her early career, but I certainly enjoyed her sporadic appearances over the years and her 90th birthday celebration last year.
Along with the Fabulous Moolah who died in 2007, they were a unique pair of which may not be seen in the WWE ever again.

Mae Young was a tough old girl, most 90 year olds would've been gone ages ago with pretty much all organs failing.
