People seem torn on who comes in for Theo for the duration of the season. There's a chance that Wenger might opt to leave both out for a long period with a preference to pack the midfield out with creativity but I'd like to think he'll balance it. If he is to do that then I expect Serge and Ox to be the automatic shoe ins for him, I am not against it if pace or a clinical act is restored into our front line.
If it does come to a scrap for the wing spot between the 2 who'd be your choices? When both hot I'd still go with the Ox, he's very capable with both feet, he has a good shot on him, he's quite dynamic he's comfortable in any 3 of the attacking positions and can slot nicely into our rotational style in attack, he's tricky and has shown he can do it on the big stage (Fergie's Man U, Milan etc..) I always thought he'd turn out better than Theo eventually due to better technical capabilities, however that time has not come yet and Theo's presence will be missed but if there was ever a time for the Ox to take his chance it has come.
Gnabry is very direct I rate him highly and while he's more match-fit than Ox I'd give him the nod but Ox in the long run
Your choice:
Gnabry 5
or
Chamberlain 1
The Ultimate: Gnabry or Oxlade

Gnabry. He's more natural in that position.

Pods----Oz-----Caz
Ox needs not be rushed back and Serge will not be thrown in.

Tough choice.
Unfortunately, neither's really a natural wing-forward; both players tend to come inside off of the flanks and move between-the-lines, but even still, I think both are capable of adapting their game a little to help fill the void left by Walcott in the short-term.
I think, for now, I would opt for Gnabry whilst Chamberlain regains fitness.
D'J, it's a good point, and I think in an ideal world, they would both be gradually phased back into the team - if at all - but I'm a little concerned about the lack of pace our attack would have without one of them.

The thing people need to think about is that Theo missed a lot of the season already, Ox has been out since 45 mins in, Pods has missed loads and yet Gnabry has barely played.
Wenger won't change this on the back of a decent game, just as he didn't after previous good games.

Ah, I see! I agree Wenger probably won't throw either one of them in the deep end.
I'm hoping that, based on Wenger's recent comments, we'll be bringing in a pacey striker this January, which would make this much less of an issue.

Ox by a distance. Not even close.

Ox on the left, Gnabry on the right.

I'd back Ox to do better in a consistent run in the team. Young players like Gnaby tend to lose form in a consistent run

Gnabry is only 18 and I would expect him to be rotated in occasionally, but the Ox needs to step up and show what he can do, I always thought the Ox had more potential than Walcott but he needs to start showing it now.
