From the match thread:
Why would we sign Wells only to let Vaughan leave??
Think about it.....we sign a player with potential to replace one with experience? No chance. Vaughan will be here until at least the summer or this transfer makes zero sense.
Who's he been linked with, Celtic? They won't have the budget to pay what Hoyle wants for JV! Rumours north of the border suggest it's Norwood that Lennon is after, not Vaughan after all. Would we let Olly go? On current form we'd be mad but for the right price, maybe.
Stop worrying about Vaughan. It will probably cost £5M to anyone interested and I don't think anyone is THAT keen.

We need to keep him next season as well champers otherwise there is still no point in signing wells because we're supposed to be building a team for the future to have a go at a promotion push in the not too distant future .

Thanks (.) (.), I hadn't seen Mr Grumpy's comments either. Not conspiratorial atorial. Hope we can keep both and Vaughan stays fit, should see us move up the table nicely !
