Apparently a 15mn euro bid for Antoine Griezmann has been rejected. Clearly we are looking for a winger/striker!

I wonder if we can somehow use the Vela buy-back clause as part of the negotiation.

I hope so! But the €15m bid suggests we're probably going to try and be as frugal as possible on this one! I doubt we'll ever bring Vela back to the club, so if we can waive the clause as part of a deal that reduces the Griezmann fee, we might as well.

Really hope the bid is true. If it is, then as I suspected we are prioritising the need to replace Walcott more than going after a striker. I believe a replacement for Walcott is more important.

'€15,000,001!!! Turn that down Sociedad!'
Would be a great signing though. I've suggested him for a while now, as sociedad are my team in spain. I maintain that we need wingers. We had a great start to the season, but our team just doesn't look right without Theo or Podolski. And Griezmann could well turn out to be better than those two.
