Terrible myth that has no merit anymore.

Fabregas is not improved from his time at Arsenal, he is playing at the same world class level he has for the last 6 years.

Van Persie was world class in his last season at Arsenal and he played exactly the same the following season (no better of worse).

I would say that Van Persie will finish his career with an FA Cup winners medal and a PL winners medal.

A pathetic haul really but what's hilarious is that if Suarez doesn't move soon, he will share the same fate.

Loved fabregas one of the best I've had pleasure to go see but that said I think he's levelled off. At arsenal he controlled the team play not sure that happens now as barca team stronger.

Agree with ollie; can't think of any players who played better after leaving arsenal.

I don't know why people keep saying rvp won us the league. We finished on the same points scored slightly less conceded more finished on same points as the previous season we lost it. In fact both seasons we collapsed at the end of the season league wise.

Hernandez got a lot of important goals to, in fact a lot of our defenders seemed to score. It was amazing how many different scorers there were last season for man utd. The big reason we won the league was saf and the players burning and relentless destire to get the title back after how the previous season finished. We basically gave no team a realistic chance of winning the title by march. After 30 games we had won the most games and most points I believe at that stage.

Man utd main problem this season is not getting the lucky breaks, we are creating a similar amount of chances but scored half the goals. Keepers are playing amazing games against us and de gea is a spectator nearly every game so if he starts saving 1 or 2 shots we will start keeping clean sheets and we start to convert a couple of chances per game we will look to get on paper comfortable wins.

It seems everything is going against us this season.

Haf - you make the point you are creating but not scoring that's rvp mate. All the refs so called mistakes wouldn't notice. Also Rooney was off form last year rvp gave you the fear factor that's missing now.
