1 thing which I don't understand is why we don't INSTRUCT, like, coach, someone to make these incisive runs Theo used to make.

In fact Harry and Pep both pointed out how bending runs and off the ball movement can destroy the most experienced structured defences.

One of the best examples of attacking team movement I have witnessed was that of Barcelona during our 2-1 win at the Emirates.
So many incessant little darting runs in the anticipation of a throughball. They were creating chances left right and centre.

I still think it can be coached, both individually and on a team level.

tbf I'm a gooner now, you Chris Boss and a few others are constant Giroud bashing, it's annoying

Its just frustration because I see him as a player who is good, but not good enough for Arsenal. At the start of the season I sadi fair play to him, I didn't think he had the technical ability but was delivering the goods so I held my hands up and said he was proving me wrong and was happy about it.

My frustration is because I saw it as a problem that should have been dealt with in the summer but after his start of 5 goals in 6 games we have played about 30 games and hes scored 6. 1 goal every 5 games on average. How is that good enough for a striker in a team that wants to win the league?

Benteke would be a waste of money, plus Villa wont sell him now

They want to sell him because he has given on Villa. Thats obvious from his game. However I am not singling out Beneteke specifically. Just the type we need if we want to use Santi, Ozil, skills of playing through balls and utilising space behind the striker.

With the best will in the world Giroud is not going to push opposition back. And neither are Gnabry or Oxalde.

You forget that Arshavin was a very direct player and Cesc is probably the most direct midfielder in the world as he is proving for Barca this year. Highest no of assists in Liga?

If youre talking about me, because I think we should have one player replaced by someone better you think every negative comment ever made by anyone on this site was made by me. You need to check your facts before you start throwing accusations like that around. It can get quite insulting and lead to angry comments.

I understand you point but we are top of the league. Dont know if we have enough to win it but you should look beyond that. Its a team effort and not depending only on one player.

My fault. I couldn't imagine you could compare a crop that are the most naturally gifted grouping football has ever seen with us.

I suppose you could teach that 12 or 13. Thats when Barca get hold of them. Doesn't solve our problem though.
