You are able to ensure that the game against Porto was the last who held the service of Benfica?
Yes, it was my last game. I want to thank all the people at the club and all the supporters. Benfica will be forever in my heart. I played here two and a half years, I gave my best in every practice, every game, and now is the right time to leave. I want to improve, I want to go to a better league and want to go to Chelsea, the club which I also like. I also thank the president of Benfica, did everything I could to stay here but I have wanted to leave and insisted on leaving. Respect the effort made to keep me in the club, he and all the people of Benfica were very good to me, made me happy, but I repeat that I insisted on going out to understand that the time is right.

I'd stick him straight in for United. Has the strength, athletisism and ability to absolutely boss that United midfield. Hate that old 'need time to settle in' excuse. He immediately improves our centre midfield. Him and Rami to start for me.

Absolutely!
He'll probably have one or two training sessions with us before his game on Sunday, he's had a bit of a rest - although he did play Sunday - due to the Poruguese League winter break which means he is in perfect conditions to walk into the first 11.
I can't wait to see this 6'4 beast next to Ramires in centre midfield.

Definitely wouldn't start him against Utd. We are not desperately struggling and have been playing fairly well. Most of this has been built on a defensive solidity that could well be lost if we bring in a new midfielder who may not exactly know our tactics. Plus there has to be an element of competition and when our midfielders are playing reasonably well, they shouldn't immediately be ousted.
Mikel tends to play well against Utd and Luiz was by no means bad at CM against Liverpool or Hull.
We have home games against Stoke and West Ham after Utd which are ideal games to bed Matic into the team.

Pretty much obliterated my point. I agree, I'm just excited to see him sign after being sure we were getting Guarin.
The only thing I won't want to see is Lampard in the pivot again, not with Matic, Ramires and Mikel there.
