Last night, the player with the broadest smile at Arsenal was captured on video not too pleased with lack of minutes the pitch. Just as the Ox prepared to come on, Podolski he is seen wearing back his jacket obviously angry that he wasnt given a chance. I share in his displeasure.... and am hoping that that will fire him up to work very hard next time he gets a chance and to show the great goal scoring form everyone knows he has.

Lucas Podolski not happy

Shows he cares!
Pod for Rosicky wasn't what we needed. Ox slotted into to midfield to 'sure' things up.

Podolski has been linked with both Stoke and Cardiff in the last 48 hours

Everybody wants to play. Disappointment when you're not picked is completely normal.

Bringing on Podolski would have been too attacking a move.

I'm sure Wenger would like to have brought on all the players from the bench, just so as to not hurt their feelings

Wenger keeps saying how much Podolski can contribute, but on the other hand he is reluctant to give him minutes, even substitution minutes. Hard to believe there is nothing happened in between them.

Was so happy to see Ox that I couldn't care less.

Podolski's last game (when he was played as a central striker) was really bad. The worst thing about it was that he didn't even try. Benching him will hopefully remind him that he has to put in more effort.

Podolski is still class. He plays a lot better on the left side. I really hope we don't end up selling him.
